Here’s the concept drawing of the newest Marlin 1895 .45LC. It’s in the works now. This gun was a long time coming. Orginally scheduled in 2005 it was pushed back and delayed due to the Winchester closing and the subsequent effect on Marlin’s business. This pattern was inspired by the Ulrich style of engraving done in the late 1890’s. The Ulrich brothers did much of the industry’s special editions, many Winchesters, etc. (much like Baron Technology today!) The patriach, Conrad Ulrich was a student of the famous Colt Master Engraver Gustave Young.  We have one protoype now and judging from the looks of it, this rifle will be well received. Thanks to the folks at Marlin for pushing it along at a time when their business is gangbusters. More details to follow

Monday, April 16th, 2007

Just returned from the NRA meeting in St Lewis. Big enthusiastic crowd. Some interesting new items. 2 neat new Walthers.

TALO has a new Colt Sovereign .45 in the works. I think it looks great. The slide features a polished blue and gold checkerboard pattern, the grips are very interesting. Photos soon.

We have a Shotgun News Advert coming out on 5/20 to spread the word some

I hear the first USA Ruger “Broad Stripes” were shipped last week. There is a great advertisiment from Ruger on this gun coming. It will be posted on the site

Walther Aristocrats & Kimber Dimondgrades sold quickly. There are more PPKS due out at the end of the month, and the final 100 Kimbers

The Ruger Adjustable stock has finally passed the test. Look for it to start shipping this month…..

There will be a short shipment of Ruger “Classic” 1022’s by May. I think about 200 will ship and then defer back to USA Shooting Team guns
