Monument Valley is part of the Navajo Nation located on the Utah / Arizona border. This valley contains some of the most picturesque, interestingscenery in our country. Thanks to director John Ford and his unforgettable westerns, the area has come to define the American West. Beginning with the movie Stagecoach in 1939 which made John Wayne a star, Ford went on to shoot 6 more Westerns in Monument Valley
It is said that when John Wayne first saw Monument Valley site he said, “ So this is where God put the American West.”
It seemed natural to ask Lee Griffiths of Hyde Park, UT. to design the Monument Valley Henry engraving. Lee did the engraving design on the TALO Ruger John Wayne Vaqueros.
