Going to NRA - Update on New Models and shipments
Wednesday, April 19th, 2006TALO will attend the NRA show in May. We normally put a gun or two in the Friends of NRA auction. About 90% of the USA 1022’s have shipped to TALO wholesalers. Many more X-17’s shipped this month. Our S&W Military Model of 1950 (limited to 450) will ship in April. It’s a bright nickel .44 special with neatly checkered grips (era appropriate) Up to this point we have not been able to afford a high polished factory nickel gun. It looks great and is a good deal for the money.
The MAKO is still on track for May. The NAA Snake Eyes has some very cool custom playing cards in the set. We hope to see the first shipments in May. Both the Marlin Annie Oakly and the H&R Golden Buffalow started to ship in April. I hear they don’t last a day at the wholesalers. Nice job by Marlin. Wish we could get more to work on but the Winchester problem has taxed all lever vendors.
The next Ruger Last Cowboy .32 Single six has a very cool (in my humble opinion) Hunter weak side cross draw holster with it.The holdster is marked with the Ruger logo and the slumping cowboy. (there is probably a better way to describe the Last Cowboy logo) Many shooters are unhappy now that the .32 has gone away. Dixie Shooters Supply will have some very reasonable .32 lead round nose for the CAS fans next month.
